A snake ring. Fashion journalists have asked which jewellery designer it’s from – to my delight, I’ve had to say it’s from an Italian souvenir shop. I often buy jewellery from souvenir shops when I’m abroad.

When have you believed in yourself the most?
When I step onto the stage for a concert.

What advice would you give to yourself ten years ago?
It’s okay to be multiple things – you don’t have to leave out parts of yourself.

How do you express your personality?
With contrasts.

Great Britain.
